[Botanygraduatestudents] Volunteers Needed for Botanic Gardens Plant Sale - Saturday 10/14/23

The Botanic Gardens need volunteers for their plant sale that will be held, Saturday 10/14/23.

The information from Dr. Jodie Holt, Director UCR Botanic Gardens is as follows:

We are holding our first in-place (member) plant sale Saturday and are very short of able-bodied volunteers to assist members with pushing wheelbarrows and wagons up and down the hill, staffing the holding stations, and doing various other tasks. Our new nursery is on the Frost Court property of Oscar Clarke, so transporting people up and down is a major component of the event.

The sale is October 14, goes from 9 am – 1 pm, and we ask volunteers to work a minimum of 2 hours (all 4 would be great) and arrive around 8:30 if they will start at 9.  We will provide snacks and water, and our sincere appreciation for helping us succeed.
