[Biomed_students_phd] Reference: Announcing New Graduate Advisor for Enrolled PhD Students

Dear All,

I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding work of our past Graduate Advisor, Dr. Sika Zheng, as he hands off his duties to our new advisor, Dr. Xuecai Ge. Please join me in thanking Dr. Zheng for his dedicated service. He has been tireless in advocating for our graduate students and guiding our faculty mentors, students, and staff through the complexities of graduate education. His selfless commitment of time and energy is deeply appreciated and well worth celebrating.

We are also incredibly fortunate to welcome Dr. Ge into this role. Dr. Ge brings years of graduate leadership experience from University of California, Merced and has already hit the ground running. Effective July 1, 2026, she is our primary point of contact for all PhD graduate student advising questions and concerns.
