[Biomed_students_phd] Spring 2026 Call out for UME Teaching Assistant Opportunity (Deadline February 19)

Dear BMSC PhD Students and Faculty Mentors,

The School of Medicine, Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) is offering 50% TA positions for the Spring 2026 quarter (April 1 - June 30, 2026) for Block 4/5 (BMSC 234/MDCL 234 and BMSC 235/MDCL 235).

Students should submit completed application as a PDF document to the Executive Administrative Specialist for Undergraduate Medical Education, Dawn Demeritte Dawn.Demeritte at medsch.ucr.edu<mailto:Dawn.Demeritte at medsch.ucr.edu>.

To receive full consideration, for the spring term, applications should be received by February 19, 2026. Applications received past this deadline may be considered only if positions are still open. If you submitted an application for the winter cycle and would like for your application to be reconsidered for spring, please reach out to Dawn Demeritte.

If you still need to satisfy the teaching assistant requirement for your degree, I highly recommend you apply for the spring opportunity.
