[Biomed_students_masters] New Master's Thesis Agreement Form Available Online - Due March 30

Dear BMSC Master's Students,

The Division of Biomedical Sciences is pleased to announce that the MS Thesis Graduate Research Agreement has been launched as a convenient online form. New!

This form is required for first-year MS students wanting to transition to the Thesis Plan. Its goal is to establish a clear timeline and set mutual expectations between you and your faculty mentor from the start.

Key Steps:

  *   Consult First: Speak with your major professor regarding your thesis year before starting the form.
  *   Routing: After you submit, the form will route to your professor. Once they complete their portion, it will be sent back to you for a final acknowledgment of expectations.
  *   Deadline: Submit the form before Monday, March 30, 2026 (the first day of Spring Quarter). Please allow ample time for processing.
  *   Enrollment in research units: we recommend you wait to enroll in research units until the decision has been made on the transition to the thesis plan.
