<p class="MsoNormal">The Graduate Program is requesting a mandatory program faculty vote for two policy updates. In consultation with the BMSC Graduate Advisory Council (GAC), the leadership is proposing to formalize two current procedures for the program.<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Lab rotations requirement GAC Recommendation: All incoming first-year PhD students must complete three 10-week rotations before they can commit to a home lab. The first rotation will
begin in summer during the month of July.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">The examination modality to return to in-person only. Attached is the detailed recommendation for the oral and final defense modality.<o:p></o:p></li></ol>
