Dear BMSC Students,

Check out this great opportunity. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, focusing on Medicine and Physiology this year and will be held from June 27-July 2, 2027. Please see the attachments for more information about the event.

The application timeline is short, you will need to submit an application by Monday 10/19 to Dr. Lidia Kos, Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies, lidia.kos at ucr.edu<mailto:lidia.kos at ucr.edu>. Top candidates will be put forth by Graduate Division.

They welcome nominations/applications from undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, and early career post-doctoral scientists in the field of Physiology/Medicine and closely related disciplines who meet the following criteria at the time of application:

Formal criteria:

  *   First time attendance at a Lindau Meeting<https://www.lindau-nobel.org/>
  *   Fluency in English and willingness to actively participate in discussions with Nobel Laureates and fellow Young Scientists
  *   Commitment to attend the full duration of the meeting in Lindau
  *   Engagement in extracurricular activities
  *   Submission of two detailed recommendation letters in English by academic advisors and/or internationally renowned scientists, who know the applicant well
  *   Submission of the completed online application form before the deadline.

UCR has received a one-week extension to submit nominations, and we are seeking interested doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars who may wish to participate in this prestigious meeting.

Interested candidates must be able to prepare a complete application package by Monday, October 19.
