[Biomed_grad_faculty] Graduate Division Fellowship

Dear students and faculty,

The Graduate Division offer the following fellowships: the Dissertation completion fellowship award (DCFA), the Dissertation Year Fellowship Award (DYFA), and the UC–HSI DDI President’s Pre-Professoriate Fellowship (UC-HSI DDI PPPF). DCFA is specifically for students who are going to graduate by the end of Spring quarter 2026. Please note the following rules from the Graduate Division about DCFA:

  1.
Failure to graduate by Spring 2026 will affect the Graduate Program’s ability to nominate future students.
  2.
DCFA recipients are not eligible for employment after the fellowship period ends.
  3.
The Dissertation Advisor must acknowledge the student’s thesis timeline and confirm the plan to graduate within the award period.

Applications must be received by January 9, 2026 for a full consideration. Please kindly notify me via email after completing your application so I can double check it is received in Slate.
