Hi Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you that,
unfortunately, we will need to cancel tomorrow's scheduled journal club
meeting.

Over the past few days, I have been deeply immersed in meeting an important
deadline for a paper submission. Due to this, I have only just begun to
prepare for what was intended to be tomorrow’s presentation on a recent
paper titled "Mapping the topography of spatial gene expression with
interpretable deep learning." While I find the paper both interesting and
significant, it lies outside my primary area of expertise. After much
consideration, I've concluded that I am not yet ready to present this
subject with the depth and clarity it deserves.

Furthermore, with the looming deadline on Thursday, my focus must remain on
completing my current obligations. Therefore, in the interest of both my
responsibilities and the value of our discussions, I have decided to
postpone my presentation to the first week of the next quarter.

I deeply apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may
cause. It is my sincere hope that this change will allow us to have a more
engaging and informative discussion when we reconvene.

In the meantime, I wish everyone a restful and enjoyable spring break. I am
very much looking forward to our discussions and the opportunity to learn
together in the journal club next quarter.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Best regards,
Jingong
