UCR Friends of the Santa Ana River, a project of the Library's Water 
Resources Collections and Archives, is working with Orange County Public 
Works to arrange a tour of the Seven Oaks Dam near Highland. This event 
is in following our theme of "putting the river back into UC Riverside" 
and making our home watershed and its issues, and beauty, more visible 
to the campus community.


The Orange County Public Works needs to know how many attendees there 
will be.  If you are interested, please contact Steve 
Mitchell (smitch at ucr.edu <mailto:smitch at ucr.edu>or 951-827-6454).  
Details regarding the time and carpool arrangements will be forthcoming.
