[Bgsa] Union meeting - tomorrow at lunch bunch

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, the contract for graduate student TAs expires on 
Sept 30th. If all goes well, there will be a new contract by Oct 1st, 
however, there is a good chance that remaining issues will not be 
resolved by then. At stake are, among other things, a cap on the amount 
of money the university spends on our health care as well as a cap on 
the amount of money the university spends on fee remission (currently at 
100% though the university wants to limit that amount).

There will be a meeting for Biology graduate students in Stats B650 (the 
Lunch Bunch room) at 12:10 tomorrow (Friday) to help fill all students 
in on the possibility of an Unfair Labor Practice strike. What will this 
mean for TAs and their students? come and find out...
