Hi everyone,

This week the Biology Department will be hosting Dr. Blair Wolf for our weekly Thurs afternoon seminar, as well as the Friday Lunch Bunch at noon.

His Thursday talk is:
"Are saguaros a 'keystone' resource for consumers? An isotopic view of a plant-animal interaction"

His Friday talk is:
"Seasonal and annual shifts in pathways of carbon flow through a desert food web"

Blair is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. His interests include:
Animal Physiological Ecology; Ecological Energetics, Thermoregulation and Water Economy of Desert Animals; Trophic Interactions and Food Webs; Isotopic Ecology; Avian Reproductive Biology and Habitat Selection.
