General Plan Update (GPU) and Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP)

Riverside is shaping its future, and the community is leading the way! The
City of Riverside is continuing its General Plan Update (GPU) to guide how
the city grows, develops, and thrives through 2050, reflecting the
community’s shared vision and priorities every step of the way. The City is
also advancing the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) focused on
reducing greenhouse gas emissions while strengthening resilience against
climate change. Together, these efforts will shape a more sustainable,
connected, and vibrant future for Riverside.
