Dear Black Faculty and Staff,

The Black Graduate Student Association (BLK GSA) warmly invites you to
our Welcome
Black to School Mixer — a relaxed, joyful gathering to kick off the new
academic year and celebrate our vibrant Black community at UCR.

This event is about more than just a welcome — it’s about building bridges.
We’re bringing together Black graduate students, faculty, and staff to
connect, celebrate, and strengthen the community that sustains us all. Your
presence, wisdom, and support mean so much, and we would be honored to have
you join us.

🕓 Time: 1 PM – until
📍 Location: African Student Programs

Expect good music, light refreshments, and even better company. Whether
you're reconnecting or meeting new faces, this is a space where you belong.
