[BFASA] Invitation: Join the Undercommons Discussion - Feb 27th - Professional Development & Authenticity

Dear Black Faculty and Staff Members of UCR,

We are writing to invite you to join us for the next Undercommons discussion on Thursday, February 27th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM inside African Student Programs (ASP).

The Undercommons is a bi-weekly discussion dedicated to engaging students in conversations centered around Black thought and discussion. Our current series of discussions is inspired by Fred Moten and Stefano Harney's book, The Undercommons: Fugitive Planning & Black Study.

This event's discussion will be focused on professional development while maintaining authenticity in the career space. We will explore the challenges and opportunities related to navigating professional environments while staying true to oneself and one's cultural identity. Your presence and perspectives on this important topic would be greatly appreciated.

This also offers a valuable opportunity to connect with students and other staff members.

Whether you're familiar with The Undercommons or not, all are welcome. We encourage you to join us for an engaging conversation.
