Foothill Behavioral Health Consultants is seeking master’s level psychologists (psychological associates), counselors and social workers, who may be licensed or unlicensed, who are looking to join the practice or looking to acquire supervised hours towards licensure.



  *   Candidates seeking to accrue hours towards licensure as a Psychological Associate must have at least a master’s degree in psychology.
  *   Candidates in a master’s in Social Work program and master’s in Counselling Program may apply to accrue hours towards licensure.
  *   Candidates who are licensed in any of these disciplines are also welcome to apply.
  *   Candidates seeking supervision will work under the close supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist, a licensed psychologist, or a licensed marriage family therapist, in accordance with the requirements set forth by the state licensing governing body.
  *   Interns may accrue hours towards licensure while providing mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members who present themselves for psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs.
  *   Interns may under supervision collaborate with treating psychiatric and allied health professional team members to plan and direct each individual patient’s treatment program.
  *   Candidates will summarize treatment plans, case summaries, and maintain ongoing confidential records. Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
  *   Candidates will participate in staff discussions of the applications of psychological principles and techniques and presents case histories.
  *   Administers and participates in the interpretation of a range of psychological, cognitive, developmental, aptitude, and vocational-interest tests for purposes of diagnosis, treatment, and providing vocational counseling.
  *   Training will be at the Victorville location, but candidates will have the option of being in Rancho Cucamonga or Victorville upon completion of initial training.
