[BFASA] Inspirational Book for Our Black Scholars (Special Event Invite)

Hello BFASA,

ASP’s Sankofa Mentorship Program is having an event that we want to invite you to on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 11:30am to 1:00pm in HUB 355.  The title of the event is “The Books that Inspire.”  Lunch will be provided.

The goal for this event is to have faculty, staff, graduate students, and alumni bring one book they believe can serve as a source of inspiration for our Black undergraduate scholars.  The book will then be donated to one of our scholars.  If you do not currently own the book you wish to donate or you wish to keep your copy of said book, please let us know the title and author of the book and African Student Programs & Black Student Success will purchase said book on your behalf in order to donate to one of our scholars.

We are asking that you RSVP for the event by Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5pm, so that we have an accurate head count and list of the books that will be donated.  Please still complete the RSVP form even if you can't attend but still wish to donate a book.
