Dear BFASA,
For those of you who work with students or if you might know a student who might be interested please share the attached flyer with them. The department of Entomology raised funds in 2020 in response to the George Floyd tragedy to provide scholarships to marginalized students who are not able to participate in research due to financial, social, and cultural barriers. The student does not have to have a background in Entomology or science to apply. The scholarship is limited to undergrads within Southern California. They do not have to be a UCR student to apply; just need to be attending a 2 or 4 year college.

Thank you for your support!
