We also need your attention and action regarding the following areas:


  *   We want to continue “The Boldly Go” series this year and we need your help with identifying notable guest speakers.  Please examine your professional and academic networks and try to identify anyone you know that might serve as a great guest speaker especially on topics under the umbrella of the Black experience in higher education.  Should you come across anyone, please contact Paige and I so that we can collaborate with contacting the person in question.


  *   The activities committee would also like to host some type of fun and entertaining virtual event before campus closes for the winter break.  We deserve to have some fun!  If you have ideas on virtual activities that work for medium to large groups, please let Paige and I know by next Wednesday (11/24/2021).  You can also let us know in the GroupMe chat group as well.



  *   Planning for the 2022 Juneteenth Week of Recognition will be starting earlier this year so that we can ensure that this year’s series of events and activities will be bigger and better than the last!  If you would like to take part in the planning please let Paige and I know so that we can add you to this special planning committee.
