Dear Community,

Last year our community came together in a big way to support UC Riverside’s LGBTQ+ students when the pandemic abruptly forced them into a remote learning environment and for some, isolating and uncertain living situations. Thanks to your unwavering support, we persevered in the face of adversity to keep learning, maintain a sense of togetherness, and provide access to critical resources.

A year later, our spirits are on the rise as some students, rainbow tassels front and center, become UCR graduates while others look forward to safely gathering on campus once again. Although we remain physically distanced, we are proud to say that we are still standing tall, as we celebrate our students’ successes, Pride Month, and the absolute fabulousness of our community.

In the spirit of Pride, we ask you to rise to the occasion once again to support our LGBTQIA+ students through a charitable donation to the LGBT Resource Center’s Student Assistance Fund by June 30th.

Every donation from you may unlock increased support for our students with these challenges:

  *   Geographic Challenge – For every state represented on the donation page (D.C., we see you!) It will unlock a $20 gift from a donor.
  *   100 Donors Challenge – If we reach 100 donors towards our campaign by June 30th, Joel Mejia Smith, UCR Dance Department Chair and Associate Professor of Choreography, will create a dance video in celebration of our success!
