[Banner_minus_faculty_only] Banner Update - Temporary Defect Workaround

Good morning Banner users,

I am happy to report that over the weekend we upgraded Banner and were able to install a release that fixed the below defect that was introduced about a month ago.  At this time the standard filters should be back for an easier use of these pages.  We appreciate your patience as we worked to test and deploy the necessary Banner releases.  If you find you experience any challenges, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Good morning Banner users,


We have become aware that the Banner release we are deploying this weekend contains a defect which may impact some users. When accessing various query screens in Banner, such as SSASECQ from SSASECT or SFQSECM from SFAREGS, the default set of filters will be missing from the page.

As a temporary workaround, users will need to select the criteria on which they want to filter by selecting the appropriate option(s) from the “Add Another Field” list. Ellucian has issued a fix for this defect, which we anticipate installing in April.
