Dear Highlander Community,
In light of the recent events unfolding in Los Angeles and other parts of
the country, we acknowledge that members of our UC Riverside community may
be experiencing fear, stress, uncertainty, or anxiety. This rings
especially true for members of our immigrant and undocumented student
populations, and those with loved ones who may be impacted as well.
At UCR, an institution widely recognized as one of the most diverse
universities in the nation, we want to be clear: you are not alone. We
stand with you and will support you every step of the way.
If you are feeling unsettled, uncertain about next steps, anxious about
travel, or simply in need of support, we want to ensure you know where to
turn. UCR is committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment, and we
remain deeply dedicated to the success and well-being of undocumented
students.
