the University is to observe it this year on Monday, June 28<sup>th</sup>. I will be observing this year’s Juneteenth by beginning an exploration of book lists, podcasts, and historical documents from and by experts in related scholarly disciplines to educate
myself on the history of the first Juneteenth 158 years ago. I hope you’ll join me.
