2021-2022 Elections: Division Call for Nominations

NOTICE OF ELECTION AND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
2021-2022

March 8, 2021

In accordance with the Bylaws of the Riverside Division of the Academic Senate, nominations are requested for the following positions:

Vice Chair of the Division                  1-year term beginning September 1, 2021
Christiane Weirauch's term to expire in 2021.

Representative to the Assembly        2-year term beginning September 1, 2021
Isgouhi Kaloshian's term to expire in 2021.

Committee on Committees               3-year terms beginning September 1, 2021

*       Two representatives from the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences
Jonathan Eacott and Aleca Le Blanc's terms to expire in 2021. Elected representatives cannot be from Psychology or Economics.

*       One representative from the Bourns College of Engineering
Heng Yin's term to expire in 2021. Elected representative cannot be from Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Nominations can be made electronically on the Senate website at:

https://senate.ucr.edu/rsenate/dashboard.php/elections

Please note that you must log in using your UCR NetID in order to place a nomination.

To be considered for nomination, each candidate must receive at least five nominations from eligible Senate members.  Submitting a name indicates that this person has been contacted and has agreed to serve if elected.

The deadline for nominations is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021.  Candidates who receive less than five nominations will not be considered.  Following confirmation of the nominees, an electronic ballot will be created if necessary, with voting due by Friday, April 9, 2021.
