Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing institutions of the *Californias’ Climate
Challenge (Reto Climático de las Californias)*, we would appreciate your
help in sharing this opportunity broadly with students who may be
interested in participating. Additional information about the program can
be found below and in the attached flyer.

Thank you for your support.
The 2026 Californias’ Climate Challenge is a binational youth innovation
platform that brings together 60 young people from Baja California Sur,
Baja California, and California to develop practical climate solutions for
one of North America's most interconnected regions. The initiative is
organized through a collaboration of universities, government agencies, and
civil society organizations from Mexico and the United States. It seeks to
empower emerging leaders to address shared regional challenges related to
climate change, energy, water, sustainability, environmental justice, and
community resilience. Through training, mentorship, multidisciplinary
collaboration, and project development support, participants will design
solutions with measurable impact and pathways toward piloting, incubation,
implementation, or further research
