Attention PhD Students:Applications are now open for the *Fall 2022 Science
to Policy Graduate Certificate Course*!

UCR Science to Policy (S2P) is a campus-based organization that works to
highlight and expand the roles of scientists in public policy. Over
the 10-week evening/weekend course, grad students interact with
policymakers and gain skills in science policy, education, advocacy, and
communication to translate science into public policy or pivot to policy
careers.

Applications are due for the Fall 2022 course *by July 22* (application
form: https://tinyurl.com/Science-Policy-Certificate). PhD students from
across STEM fields are welcome to apply, including from the social
sciences. Strong candidates from other programs would also be considered
and are encouraged to apply.

The course structure will be hybrid, with monthly in-person weekend
intensives (10-3 pm on September 24-25, October 22-23, and November 19-20)
and weekly virtual meetings 6-7 pm on Wednesdays.
