GradQuant is hiring 2-3 part-time consultants for the 2021-22 academic year. Graduate student consultants will be hired for Fall, Winter, and/or Spring at a 10% appointment (4 hours per week) and compensated at $20/hour. This position may be held concurrently with TA/GSRships and lectureships. GradQuant consultants are responsible for holding quantitative consultations as well as developing and presenting workshops in GradQuant.

We are looking for graduate students across all disciplines with strong background, knowledge, and experience in one or more of the areas listed below:

  *   Basic and advanced statistical analysis methods
  *   Programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript, R, Python, SQL, C, or C++
  *   Applied statistics and machine learning techniques
  *   Bioinformatics
  *   Data mining
  *   Big-data management
  *   Neural networks and deep learning
  *   Artificial intelligence
  *   MATLAB
  *   Stata
  *   Digital research methods, such as text mining and analysis, digital mapping and/or GIS, network analysis, digital storytelling (with video/sound/Twine), podcasts, or story maps
Please note that you do not have to have experience in all areas listed above. If you have experience in at least one area, consider applying.
