Dear Graduate Students,

Nanobiotechnology course (BPSC 149/BPSC 225P/ CMDB 281-E/BIOL 281E) will be offered in the Winter 21. Please see the flyer for more information and contact professor Giraldo if you have more questions about this course.

2 units - Tuesdays 1:00 pm to 2:50 pm –

Virtual course Learn about emerging applications of nanotechnology to plant, medical, and bioengineering research. Topics include how nanomaterials are used as novel tools for genome transformation and editing, targeted and controlled delivery of medicines and agrochemicals, smart nanosensors, and cyborg tissues with augmented functions. This course will have lectures by the instructor and discussions led by the students focused on recent high impact research articles in the field of nanobiotechnology.
