 the Professoriate (CUSP)</b></span><span style="letter-spacing: normal; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif, serif, EmojiFont; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 400; color: black;"> provides mentoring and career development to graduate students who are interested in

 becoming professors and are from groups typically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). CUSP Scholars are also given the opportunity to become Near-Peer Mentors to our BB2P (Building Bridges to the Professoriate) Scholars during

 the summer of the year they enter the CUSP program. </span></p>

</b></span><span style="letter-spacing: normal; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif, serif, EmojiFont; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 400; color: black;">is a program that fosters collaboration between California State University, Fullerton and Fresno State University

 with the University of California Riverside (UCR) to increase student engagement in undergraduate and graduate research in science and mathematics among underrepresented minorities (URM).</span></p>
