Dear Colleagues,

We are finalizing UCR’s NIH *Institutional Biomedical Undergraduate
Research Training (BURT, T34)* grant application, with Ernest Martinez as
Primary Principal Investigator. BURT is expected to replace the
long-standing MARC training grant that has supported undergraduate research
at UCR for many years and will broaden the number of students who can
participate in funded, mentored research experiences.

This message is a *last call* for faculty who are willing to be included as
cooperating faculty on the proposal.

If you are willing to participate, please complete the short form below
(10–15 minutes):

Faculty Information Form:
https://forms.gle/9RpGWECodA2yTCVHA

Participating faculty will also need to provide an *NIH SciENcv
biosketch* (details
included in the form).

To be included, please submit *both the form and biosketch by Wednesday,
February 18*. The application is due February 25.

Thank you for your time and continued support of undergraduate research
training at UCR.

Please don't hesitate to contact me at sboba001 at ucr.edu.

Warm regards,

Selene Bobadilla
