Semana de la Mujer has begun! ❤️👏🏽



Thank you to @mujeresunidas_ucr for hosting Day 1 with the annual Mujer Conference on Sunday, Feb 17th!

On Day 2, we will be hosting Las Profes Panel, featuring Dra. Gavosto (Mathematics) and Dra. Chávez (Music). Learn about their academic journey and current research projects! Lunch will be provided.

On Day 3, join us for Poesía Peligrosa rain or shine! ✨ We will be indoors, so join us and warm up with Cafecito and poesía at @thebarnucr. We will elevate the poemas, stories, art, and voices of muxeres with @teatroquintosol ! Event will include vendors (@semillasartes @myskeletonheart @vero_ajaw ) música, and featured artist and alumni Estefania Garcia Bautista @bendita__maldita ! We will end the night with an open mic! 🎤❣️

On Day 4, we will finish the week with a reception at the Tomás Rivera Library where we will be launching our 2nd Annual Collective Memory Exhibit! 👏🏽 We will be hearing the words and stories of our community who submitted to our exhibit. The exhibit will include photos, art, jewlery, tejidos, and clothing to honor the stories and recuerdos of the womxn and femmes in our lives. ❤️
