Barbershop Conversations
We are Chicano Latino-identified males to come network with first-year students (undergrad and graduate).

(in Bannockburn right next to Substation)

On September 26th from 10a-2p at the J'Bez Barbershop Chicano Student Programs in collaboration with the Department of Residential Life, is hosting an event called Barbershop Conversations where first-year and transfer Chicano/x Latino/x males will have the opportunity to connect with professional staff, faculty, alumni and community to discuss how to navigate the campus of UCR. We will talk about academic success, living on campus, getting involved, and other things for thriving on campus. Also, the first 25 first-year/transfer scholars who sign up will receive a haircut from UCR alumnus, J' Bez.

Please let me know if you are available and the time you can attend. You do not need to attend the entire time.  Gracias for considering our request.
