  *   Mental Health Allies Initiative Resource Highlight:
The Mental Health Allies initiative is built upon the Collective Impact Model (CIM) utilized to make a sustainable change on the UCR campus. This model follows a comprehensive framework that focuses on moving organizations out of silos and integrating efforts to improve topics like health, homelessness, addiction, and promoting educational success. As part of our efforts I will be sharing and highlighting resources learned through the course.

UC Riverside's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is dedicated to creating a positive, healthy atmosphere for our undergraduate and graduate student populations, working hand-in-hand with students to provide access to mental health resources that support and promote their academic, career, personal and social development. Our commitment is to help each student to thrive and achieve success at UCR by providing free, confidential, and professional mental health services to our campus community.

Every Tuesday from 12pm-1pm starting October 11th through November 8th. Workshops include resources and support to help first year students transition to UCR and build comunidad. Lunch is provided. We will also provide various raffles and incentives throughout the sessions.
