<span><p>Dear colleagues,</p><p>The call for Applications for the Summer School organized by the
Impressionism Program at Paris Nanterre University has been extended
until <b>March 15</b>.</p><p>The aim of this event is to examine, over the longue durée, how
artists have engaged with a given territory: the ways in which they
moved through it, inhabited it, represented it, and how the management
of this legacy - both tangible and intangible - raises questions today.</p><p>Taking Impressionism and the Seine Valley as a case study, the
program welcomes proposals that broaden the reflection to other artistic
movements, other geographical areas, and disciplines beyond art
history.</p>
</span><p>Please find the full call for <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">participation </span>attached.</p><p>The Summer School is open to early-career
researchers (from Master’s level to postdoctoral level) as well as young professionals. It will take place from June 8 to June 12, 2026.
The program will include visits to museums, meetings with
cultural professionals, round-table discussions, and related activities.</p><p>This international Summer School, open to early-career researchers (from Master’s level to postdoctoral level) as well as to young professionals, will take place from June 8 to June 12, 2026 and will follow an itinerant format from Paris to Le Havre.
<br></p><span><p>All on-site expenses (local transportation, accommodation, meals, and
visits) will be fully covered. Participants are responsible only for
their travel costs to the Summer School venue.</p><p>Please feel free to circulate this announcement widely.</p></span><div>Best wishes,</div><div>The <i>Impressionism </i>Team</div><div><br clear="all"></div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><br></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)">Félicie Faizand de Maupeou</span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)">Chercheuse associée au HAR et à la Fondation partenariale de l'université Paris Nanterre, Chaire ACP<br></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)">Cheffe de projet du programme <i>Impressionnisme</i></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><a href="https://impressionnismes.fr/" target="_blank">https://impressionnismes.fr</a></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)">06.62.49.37.12<i><br></i></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><i></i></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><img width="420" height="75" src="https://ci3.googleusercontent.com/mail-sig/AIorK4wWR0Y_oTgp4U20CE1vyRyU-HSyt8rgF-ascdAj_maiZ2ACNrtqL5h2pbiMoW6WEQwKBWSzrWZOXM3i"><br></span></div></div></div></div></div>
