Hello everyone!

Our first AHGSA meeting of the year will take place next week on *Wednesday,
October 7th, at 2 PM in the Graduate Research Center (ART 328)*. Please
remember that it is important for graduate students (especially those in
years 1-3) to attend these meetings. Please feel free to reach out if there
is anything in particular you would like us to discuss. I hope to see you
all there!

I also want to share the link <https://forms.gle/SLC5vANy3SK9VqUX7> for
everyone to vote on the remaining AHGSA officer positions for the 2026-2027
academic year. Available positions include Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and Online Content Liaison, and Research Space Manager. You can
find short descriptions of each position in the voting form itself. Please
go and vote (and remember you can nominate yourself or someone else,
including those of you in your first year!)* by 11:59pm on Sunday, the 11th*.
All nominees will be contacted with the option of declining their
nomination(s) on Monday, October 12th. We will also go over positions in
our meeting on Wednesday.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
