I hope this email finds you well. My name is Shao-chun Wang, and I am a PhD
student in the Department of Art History at UCLA. We are currently
organizing the 2026 UCLA Art History Graduate Student Symposium, *“Bodies
Under Duress: Violence, Pressure, and the Visual,” which will take place on
Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Hammer Museum.*

We welcome submissions from graduate students at all stages of study and
postdoctoral scholars across disciplines. We would greatly appreciate it if
