Hi again everyone,
It looks like our first AHGSA meeting of the year will take place next week
on *Tuesday, October 7th, at 2pm in the Graduate Research Center (ART 328)*.
Remember that it is particularly crucial that graduate students (especially
those in years 1-3) attend these meetings, and please let me know if
there is anything in particular you would like us to discuss. I hope to see
all of you there!
I also want to go ahead and distribute the link
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1gxlbvKLxiIfCCFMh6N-2ckHBoF3e2ZLTNIyVTYTik5o/edit>
for everyone to vote on the remaining AHGSA officer positions for the
2025-2026 academic year. Available positions include: Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Online Content Liaison, and GSA representative, and
you can find short descriptions of each position in the voting form
itself. *Please
be sure to go ahead and vote* (and remember you can absolutely nominate
yourself OR someone else, including those of you in your first year!) *by
11:59pm on Sunday, the 12th*. All nominees will be contacted with the
option of declining their nomination(s) on 10/13. We will, of course, also
talk about this on Tuesday in our meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
All best wishes,
Becky
