[Ahs-grads] Highlander Day and Informal Grad talk - Request from Aleca

Hello Everyone,

A couple of requests from Aleca were passed to me. One I mentioned in my
April Faculty meeting notes and one that is new.

The first is Highlander Day tomorrow Saturday April 12th. It would be great
to have a couple of grad students come at least part of the day. I will be
there most of the time so one or two more would be nice. Aleca would love
it if one of us who had done their undergrad here before moving on to the
grad program came for lunch. Please sign up if you are able to come at the

The second item is a bit more loose but Aleca would love to set up a time
when a few grad students could come and talk to current undergrads in an
informal conversation about applying to grad school. She would like to give
them a preview of what applications look like and how they could prepare
over the summer. If interested in doing so please reach out to Aleca and a
time will be set based on the schedules of those who can attend.
