Practices (HIPs) are a collection of well-established teaching methods that
consistently demonstrate positive effects on student learning, engagement, and
retention, particularly for historically underrepresented student groups. These
practices move beyond traditional lecture formats to create more immersive and
meaningful educational experiences.</span></p>

<p style="margin:12pt 0in;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black">Undergraduate
Education would like to partner with advisors to have students consider
visiting R’Vision, connect with our staff and ambassadors, and create a plan
that incorporates HIPs into their undergraduate student experience.</span></p>

consistently shows that experiences incorporating active, hands-on learning,
especially those addressing real-world problems, lead to significantly better

thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, resulting in deeper learning and
improved academic success.</span></p>
