[Academicadvisors] Join the VPDUE for Dinner and a Lecture

Dear Advising Colleagues at UCR,

I am writing to invite you to join us for dinner at the Stable followed by
a unique, 50-minute lecture to experience our newest course: UGRD 010:
R'Excellence, How Bold Hearts and Brilliant Minds are Made at UCR.

Since our launch this spring, over 100 students have enrolled in this
1-unit course from across all majors. We see our advising partners as vital
to the future growth of this program, and we want you to see exactly why
students are giving us such positive feedback.

The R’Excellence course is unique: a dynamic TED-talk type series where
every week features a different world-class UCR professor. Lectures span
Education, Business, Physics, Public Policy, Medicine, Music, and many
other faculty from the various disciplines.

The DUE will host dinner at the Stable at 5:15 pm, followed by a short walk
over to the Student Success Building, 2nd floor (Room 229), for the 7 pm
