Dear Campus Partners,

Following up on our previous message, the XCITE Center for Teaching and Learning would like to provide an update on the Cidi Labs DesignPLUS license.

XCITE is pleased to announce the Cidi Labs DesignPLUS plugin for Canvas has been renewed!

We would like to thank all our partners who provided feedback on the use of this tool, and its impact on the student learning experience.

Dear Campus Partners,

You are receiving this email because you logged into the Cidi Labs DesignPlus plug-in tool for Canvas. If you are not actively using this plug-in tool, please disregard this email.

As part of an ongoing review of our existing Academic Technology portfolio, and due to upcoming feature releases in the Canvas LMS that replicate plug-in functionality,  access to Cidi Labs DesignPlus plug-in tool will end on December 31, 2023.

Here's what you need to know:

  *   As of the Winter 2024 quarter, you will no longer have access to the Cidi Labs DesignPlus plug-in.
  *   If you need help recreating your current course and navigational strategies, please contact XCITE at xcite-help at ucr.edu<mailto:xcite-help at ucr.edu> or 951.827.2612.
  *   The removal of the Cidi Labs plug-in means there will be limited changes to the Canvas user interface of your existing Canvas pages.
  *   There will be limited, if any, changes to your course content. If you need to report an issue, please contact XCITE at xcite-help at ucr.edu<mailto:xcite-help at ucr.edu> or 951.827.2612.
