<p class="MsoNormal">It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our esteemed colleague and friend, Jacqueline Reese-McDougal from the University on June 29, 2011.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Jacqueline endearingly referred to as “Ms. Jacque” and “Mama Jacque” has been employed with the University of California for thirty-one years. Throughout her tenure at UCR she has worked within several units on campus including the Educational
Opportunity Program-Immediate Outreach and Community Services- Student Affairs.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">For the last seven years, Jacque has worked tirelessly for the Early Academic Outreach Program. Rarely at a loss for words or great ideas, she has developed programs and partnerships that have increased the visibility of EAOP and benefited
the program and its participants. The Welcome Orientation for new EAOP students and parents, Summer Academy and Legacy Roundtable Partnership, to name a few.

<p class="MsoNormal">With her immeasurable wisdom, charismatic personality, outreach expertise, and her passion to facilitate the dreams of the college bound, Jacque has influenced the lives of countless students, parents, families, communities and co-workers.

<p class="MsoNormal">Although we will miss Jacque’s infectious smile, nurturing yet professional demeanor and her willingness to go above and beyond, she has unquestionably earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with her family.
