with the Division of Diversity, Excellence and Equity and the Office of Faculty
and Staff Affirmative Action, is announcing the third workshop in a series of
four workshops that are being offered to VCSA staff for <b><i>free!<o:p></o:p></i></b></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span
style='color:navy'>This workshop will be presented by Dr. Kathleen Montgomery
who is a Professor of Organizations and Management in UCR’s A. Gary Anderson
Graduate School of Management. She also holds an ongoing position as
Visiting Professor at the Centre for Values, Ethics, and the Law in Medicine at
the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr. Montgomery’s recent research is on issues
of trust and integrity. She teaches courses in managing behavior in
organizations, work force diversity, human resource management, and health care
management. This interactive workshop will examine the meaning of
‘stereotypes’ and ‘biases’, how they develop, and why they persist.<b> <o:p></o:p></b></span></p>
