A lot of students have to deal with their parents expecting them to do well in
school, have a great future, marry the right person, etc. MY dad wants me to be
an adult, but he won't let me out whenever I go home to visit, so how am I
supposed to be independent??? How about you?<br>

We all know how it feels to have overbearing parents. But...how do we deal with
this? How do we get them to understand who we are and what we want?<br>
But even if you are not Asian or Pacific Islander, your parents may have
expectations for you as well, so come and share your stories with us.<br>
<br>
So, come to Costo 244, the Asian Pacific Student Programs office, to discuss
these issue with students who share your experiences. Counselors from the <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Counseling</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> will be facilitating the
discussion.<br>
