holding a “Dear John” party for John Shannon who will be leaving UCR
after about six years of service to our division. For the past two
years, John was on part-time status while completing a Master’s degree
from UCR in creative writing. Although John has written many fine
Web sites for our division, he now plans to put those authoring skills to
use and pursue a screen writer’s career in Hollywood. Please drop
by and wish John well on his new venture. <br>
