All VCSA Technology Services Department’s Web and application servers

will be shutdown around 6 PM Saturday, April 1<sup>st</sup>, and will

remain offline until Monday morning.&nbsp; This means that all our Web

sites will be down over the weekend including MyUCR and the Schedule of

Classes.<br>

&nbsp;<br>

The Starrs document management system, all units serviced by Terminal

Services (Commons kiosks, Learning Center Lab, etc.), and all network

connections will also be out of service during this period.<br>

&nbsp;<br>

Please remember to turn off ALL computer workstations, printers and

copiers when you leave today to prevent any possible harm to this

equipment from power surges. <br>

&nbsp;<br>

C&amp;C is aware of the shutdown and will be working with us Monday

morning to bring services up as rapidly as possible.&nbsp; <br>

There will be a <b>Shutdown</b> of the <b><i>5KV High Voltage System

</i></b>to these buildings on <b>Sunday, April 2, 2006 </b>from

<b>6:00am</b> to <b>9:00pm</b>.This <b>Shutdown </b>is necessary in order

to work on the New Pump Pit.<br>

PLEASE INFORM ALL PERSONS IN YOUR DEPARTMENT WHO MIGHT BE AFFECTED BY

THIS SHUTDOWN.<br>
