field of<br><br>Language and Culture of Thailand<br>(Thai Studies, Professorship W 2, specialization open, reference number<br>1943/W2)<br><br>with the starting date of April 1, 2009.<br><br>The University wants to increase the number of women in teaching and<br>
research. Women are therefore strongly urged to apply. According to the<br>Hamburgisches Hochschulgesetz, if candidates are equally qualified, women<br>will be considered with priority.<br><br>The appointee should be able to represent the field of Thai Studies in<br>
research and teaching. Willingness to cooperate in transregional<br>interdisciplinary research and teaching programs, especially in Area<br>Studies, is expected. The teaching load is currently nine hours per week<br>and semester.<br>
