Together with my colleagues from Silpakorn University, the Thai Fine Arts Department and the
National Science Museum of Thailand I'm running a five week archaeological field school in Pang-nga
province from 20 June to 18 July 2011. Non-UW students can participate for academic credit.

Funding from Luce/ACLS is supporting this field school and six fully-funded positions (including
travel to and from home) are available for current Southeast Asian students or recently graduated
Southeast Asian archaeologists. This field school is the final one in a series directed by Peter
Lape that have included excavations in the Philippines and Indonesia.

Details are on the attached poster (please feel free to circulate widely) and online here:

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly for more details.

thanks,

Ben
