Burma, 1960s-1980s", by the Journal of Asian Studies, 68 (2): 543-572
Based on the transborder perspective, the paper reconstructs the
organization of the long-distance caravan trade, its trading routes and
traded commodities and analyzes the socio-cultural meanings underlying this
practice.
