SOUTHEAST ASIA
The Department of History at Northern Illinois University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of mainland Southeast Asia and/or the Philippines. Ph.D. preferred by August, 2009. The successful candidate will participate in NIU's Center for Southeast Asian Studies, a Title VI-funded National Resource Center. Teaching includes graduate and upper-division undergraduate courses on Southeast Asia and the candidate's thematic interests, and survey classes in Asian and/or World history.
