Dear CIC Readers, CAMDISC, and All,

As computer and Internet industry gain influence and market in Cambodia, Khmer fonts have been developed as well, such as Khek Font, Limon Font, Zero-Space, and many others just to name a few. Aside from all these fonts, Khmer Unicode has been developed and built-in for Microsoft Window Vista. Khmer Software Initiative (KhmerOS) and National Information Communication Technology Development Authority (NIDA), and Open Institute joined to create a project for developing OpenSource software that can accommodate this Khmer Unicode-based fonts.

Many web sites developers including the popular Radio Free Asia have launched the web sites utilizing Khmer Unicode (Khmer OS).

Today, not only Web Sites developers using Khmer Unicode, but also, many Cambodians who are able to read/write in Khmer demanding to get this Khmer Unicode for their needs such as Viewing Web Sites in Khmer, Post/Blog their websites in Khmer, Write/Read Word Document in Khmer, Post/Read CAMDISC in Khmer...

As CIC - Cambodia.Org have received requests on how to utilize this Khmer Unicode, CIC updated the page of Khmer Fonts.
Please go to http://www.cambodia.org/fonts/ to learn more how to utilize this Khmer Unicode in your computer system.

CIC - Cambodia.ORG is in the progress of getting INTERNATIONALIZATION (I18N) project and will launch its Web Site in Khmer Unicode soon.
